i love having plants but theres not much sun where i live, so they tend to start dying just before they reach a year old.
i recently asked apollo to bring the sun out so i can save my plant, and today it was super hot out! it hasn’t been this hot all year so im really surprised it worked so easily, or am i just projecting onto some freak weather?
i’d like somebody else’s opinion on this if its not too much to ask, thank you so so much!! :D

2021.04.20 01:28 dirtycleancanuck Being Shadow Banned on Reddit looks like ghosting
So it apparently happens a lot here on Reddit, users accounts and the posts people make gets caught in the spam filters of the reddit site. When that happens then your posts, your messages, your chat sessions gets removed.
From the person you are talking to, it appears as it you are ghosting them. It is effing frustrating; you get no explanation as to why it happens you will only see and notice it happening when your past posts show a banner saying it was removed.
Why I say this...I has a OA partner that I was really enjoying talking to and she said she was really getting into our situation. Then my account got "shadow banned" I thought she ghosted me, she thought I ghosted her and in the time it took me to realize what happen, and to get the account removed from the Reddit spam filters, my OA partner went back into the subreddits, connected with somebody else and is now talking to somebody else.
As for ME...I got fucked...and I am not feeling good about this.

2021.04.20 01:28 South_of_Pluto Is our relationship doomed to fail because of our income inequality?
My partner (28M) and I (26F) have been in a committed relationship since we met in school 5 years ago. We live together and I can confidently say that our relationship is solid and that we're compatible in every way. Maybe it sounds strange, but he's almost my best friend, like we tell each other everything and do everything together. In 5 years we've never had a major fight, since we're always able to put aside our egos and talk things through. We love each other and I could hardly picture my life without him.
That being said, there is an increasingly awkward dynamic that is creeping into our lives: We graduated school three years ago in the same field, and since then I've been wildly more successful than he is, to the point where I out earn him by far. He's very supportive of me and my career, and I've never been the type to chase powerful rich men, so it's not a big deal, but...
As I approach being 30, I'm starting to think about buying property, or at least renting a nicer place, now that I can afford it. Since I have more disposable income, travelling more would be nice too. The thing is, I know my partner would never be able to afford this "upgrade" in lifestyle, and he systematically refuses my financial help. He continues to insist we split rent 50/50, despite our respective incomes. He insists that we only travel as far as he can afford (so basically locally only), buy groceries on his budget, and so on, so that he can continue to contribute equally. I keep telling him that I could afford to pay rent alone and would much rather he put his money to pay back his student debt and credit card, but he won't hear it. I would be more than happy to pay trips for the both of us, if it means we could travel together, but he says he doesn't want to be a burden on me.
I'm not trying to become his sugar mommy or get into some kind of weird financial power dynamic, I just want to be able to live my life. Ideally with him. Now we're in this weird place where I'm constantly downgrading my lifestyle to match what he can afford, instead and my income making life easier for the both of us. He keeps telling me that his money issues aren't my problem, but they are. That's what being in a realtionshing is like, unfortunately. When I ask what's going to happen when I want to move into a nicer place, he answers by asking me why I'm thinking so far into the future, so basically he avoids the converstion altogether.
If I were to take a wild guess (because he isn't communicating about this specific issue), I'd say that he feels bad about not being as successful and earning as much. I would aslo assume that, culturally, we're still uncomfortable with the idea that a man's girlfriend could out earn him. As in, he would probably feel like a total loser if I were to pay rent for the both of us.
The thing is, I don't care. I want to help him out, and live our best life. It's so frustrating, he just shuts down when I try to talk about it. I know I'll resent him in the future if this goes on for too long. What's the point of making a comfortable income if I can't share it with my loved ones, or even enjoy it myself? I don't want to have to leave this otherwise perfect relationship because he won't accept my help. By trying to not be a burden on me, he is become exactly that.
How can I get him to just take my fucking money?
TLDR: I make much more money than my partner and he won't accept any of my financial help, meaning I have to downgrade my lifestyle to match his low income, rather than the other way around. It's frustrating because I would be happy to help him out, because I love him and want to share my life with him.

Experience of a Hero Campaign Each of these works in basically the same way. You spend the first 20 turns with conventional armies building up hero capacity with buildings or Lord skills (in case of VC), then start a rapid expansion as your first hero doomstack/half-stack comes online. The result is a campaign with tons of followers, lots of equipment, very fast replenishment times and some pretty crazy mechanics like very high corruption/untainted, very high public order in newly conquered provinces, and excellent winds of magic. Usually, your army upkeep is about the same or lower than normal, sometimes substantially lower if the faction has a reduction mechanic for one or more heroes (e.g. VC's Lahmian Line). But it comes with a cost too. This can easily result in single casts in excess of 200 kills. For VC, there's just the blob because your heroes can survive melee. For others, you likely have to micro your flying/speedy casters around, though there are variants like HE chariot stacks. That's not all though. You'll have the flexibility of adding mounts when you need them, so you can change the army composition in a turn to deal with challenges. For example, HE hero stacks have a lot of handmaidens that can be placed on speedy mounts to kite Monster stacks.
There are mechanics on each that can be optimized, for example by focusing on Influence and Entrepreneur trait with High Elves or driving up trade with Coachmen and Smugglers with Empire. The Dark Elves in particular have three different dynamics -- Slaving/Assassin Provinces, Aristocratic Names of Power mining, and Martial Names of Power mining -- that work together to drive up trade and taxes to astronomical levels. I also want to mention that I got this to work on Dwarves (Clan Angrund) especially by using a Lord Skill cheese that increases Oath Gold so that by turn 40 you're getting hundreds a turn. However, the challenge with the Runesmith stacks is that there isn't a good AOE hero spell or ability that enables you to wipe out the blob, so every fight turns into a slugfest where your heroes and lord slowly regenerate using the Tankard's Warden while they wear down the enemy. Fighting 100 turns + on fast forward seemed very unfun. If you have ideas on how to make it work, you can use my save file as a starting point. Here are the faction options for each of the campaigns I played through:
One very important note if you are playing Dark Elves: medicinal and obsidian trade buildings increase hero recruit rank. It is absolutely critical that you capture settlements with these resources whenever you can. Diplomatic Relations Bonus: Only includes bonuses that affect every faction, not specific factions (e.g. Humans-only bonus is not included). For example, Handmaidens unlock their core chain at 12 and Vampires can get their 3 critical abilities (Hunger, x, and Arcane Conduit) at rank x. Early game stacks might be just 10 heroes whereas late game is 18-19 heroes per stack.
